To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to you after going to PRYMONT TICKETEK office on Friday 21st April 2017 to find out who I could speak too or write too with this complaint. The lady who I spoke to gave me this email address (please see the photo attached) which is incorrect (ticketek.custhelp.com ) so yet again I was lied to because this is not an email address. I tried calling the TICKETEK phone number 132849 which yet again was constantly engaged even before it opened. During the weekend I tried to still contact TICKETEK and went on to the main website but could get no help what so ever. On Monday 24th April 2017 I went back to PRYMONT TICKETEK office and explained to the lady what was going on. She told me that I was correct that this is not an email address and asked me to leave my name and phone number so the area manager could contact me which I did leave my information. At 1.51pm I received a phone call from (02)96606747 it was the lady at PRYMONT TICKETEK office she told me that she looked and it was not an email address but it was a website that was given to me on Friday. I asked her, "If it was a website why was I told it was an email address? and why was it not written as a website address? (Please refer to the photo). Her reply to me was, "Go to this website and copy and paste you letter and send it through". I replied to her saying, "I want the area manager to contact me like you said they would". She then told me that the area manager would not be back till Wednesday which I said was fine. The complaint is as follows......... On 27th January 2017 my mother, a friend and myself went to THE STAR TICKETEK office to buy tickets for the PAW PATROL show on Friday 21st April 2017 at 10.30am. The reason why we went to this box office is because it is the closest to our home and I did try numerous times to phone TICKETEK but no one was answering the phone. The website was very confusing when it came to the position of seating so I wanted to make sure I was buying the correct tickets that would suit the needs of us attending this show. I explained to the sales lady that I did look on the website for tickets but it was confusing and I had also tried numerous times to contact TICKETEK 132849 but it is constantly engaged even before it opens. Her reply to me was....... Yes it can be confusing and it can be time consuming when the phone number is always engaged. I said to the lady, "I would like to buy 3 GOLD tickets to the PAW PATROL SHOW on Friday 21st April 2017 at 10.30am but I need to get 1 ticket on the end of the aisle and the other 2 seats next to that one the reason for this is because my Grandmother will be coming and she is not able to get passed people as she has a bad hip and knee so its best to put her on the end of an aisle." Her reply to me was........ NO worries I can do that for you. She went through and had a look and turned the screen around for us to see where seats were available. There were not many seats with an aisle seat but she then should us where 3 seats were which were on the end of an aisle. So with that we purchased the 3 tickets with cash. When she handed me the tickets I noticed that 2 tickets had DOOR 4 on them and the other ticket had DOOR 3 on it. I asked her, "Why does 2 tickets have DOOR 4 on them and the other ticket has DOOR 3 on it? Are you sure these tickets are all together and 1 is on the end of the aisle with the other 2 next to it?". Her reply to me was, "Yes there is 1 ticket on the end of the aisle and the other 2 tickets are next to it. So with that I believed that I was told the truth about the tickets. We arrive at the show to line up and everything else we get to the doors to enter and get told where to go and then find out that our seats are NOT on the end of the aisle but smack bang right in the middle. My grandmother could NOT get through, the lady showing people to their seats told us there was nothing she could do so with that my Grandmother was VERY upset that she could NOT get in to this seat and had to leave with my mother. There were 3 tickets and only 1 ticket was used by myself and my son sat on my lap. I can not believe that I did all the correct steps when buying these tickets to then be looked in the face and lied too. These 3 tickets cost us $157.50 and the 3rd ticket was not even used (my son is only 10months old so he did not need a ticket). After the show finished I went back to the TICKETEK office at THE STAR and told the lady the whole story of what happened and even she could not believe it. This was a planned day out with my son, his Grandmother and his Great Grandmother that was destroyed because a sales assistant for TICKETEK lied to us, sold us tickets that she knew were not going to be any good and all in all was happy to do this and take the money instead of just being honest with us and listening to me when I was talking to her. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled that anyone could do this to a customer. If you look you will see when I have brought tickets before for other events I always tend to buy aisle seats in case of needing the toilet etc but this time was VERY IMPORTANT that we had aisle seats which we did NOT get. If you can please get back to me on 0408762244 I have attached copies of the tickets. I believe I am entitled to a full refund. I was not able to attach the pictures of the incorrect tickets or the incorrect email address I do hope to hear from you ASAP. Kind regards, Rachel Richards
