Ericsson is a multinational networking and also telecommunication equipment and services. Ericsson was founded in 1876 by Lars Magnus Ericsson. He started making and selling his own telephone equipment in 1878 after working for a company that made telegraph for the government agency in Sweden. The Ericsson Company offers software services, they establish in information and communication for other telecommunication companies; they are also known for providing Internet Protocol networking equipment. As at 2012, Ericsson owned 35% market share in network infrastructure of 2G/3G/4G mobile networks. Ericsson also offers other services like business support, mobile and fixed broadband, IPTV, Cable TV and they also provide video systems for other companies. Ericsson partner with Sony is ordered to produce mobile telephones. Sony and Ericsson established the Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications as a joint venture by merging the two companies' mobile telephone operations. Sony Ericsson manufactured mobile phones, accessories, and PC Cards. They were mainly responsible for the products development and design, product marketing, sales and distribution including customer services of the Sony Ericsson mobile telephones. Sony made full acquisition of Sony Ericsson as at 16 February 2012 and this result in making Sony full ownership of the Sony Ericsson mobile enterprise.
